There's a reason that not everyone's Madden NFL 24 football game is going to be a 54-51 affair. The "defense is dying and will never come returned" crowd was required to pipe down a bit on Thursday after we saw plenty of defensive and offensive turnovers last night on Turkey Day. They've been leading by half-time in every game they've played , only to slow down in the second half. Could that be because Trubisky's off his opening script , or Matt Nagy is off his script, which makes them less efficient? I'm inclined to believe that it's because of Trubisky not being as efficient as the times he's demonstrated that he's prone to miss throws that are easy. Although the Bears defense has been, in 2018 your quarterback as well as your offense must be performing at a high level to beat the playoffs.
In the end, I think it's the right time to invest in the Bears as they are one year away from Super Bowl contention. The Lions might not be alive in the present however Chicago was on the road to a division rival using one of their backup quarterbacks on one week, and took the win. That's huge. Washington would have been unable to do it.
Today, Chase Daniel showed why the team is paid a lot of amounts of money for being a backup. He scored 27-37. 230 yards . He also scored two touchdowns. This game proved that Matt Nagy is a legit coach. It's not like he was before, but the Bears offense was able to succeed under these conditions. They didn't have much of a run game and still had guys open all day.
Nagy made some subtle adjustments in the game , which I consider to be important but easy to overlook. In the beginning, they attempted a few deeper passes, however, Chase was just a bit off.
