The Steelers, of course, did not play well off receivers by defending the entire field and forcing Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith to dump the ball to tight end Travis Kelce. Timmons was all the way in the opposite direction of the formation during coverage, but was picked off and made an one-on-1 tackle in the field, resulting in a gain of of just two yards. It may have looked like the typical play given that it was highly unlikely that Kelce would achieve enough yards to make the first down. If you really look at the play, you need to recognize how quickly Timmons was running and be able to collect himself to make a solid tackle. This is the exact opposite of routine or easy.
