Personally, I think this isn't the ideal solution but it's the only thing they currently have. You might be thinking that this solution isn't feasible. Since your entire guild is on the mega server, you can't just ask your entire guild to switch off, a lot of your friends are over there. It's definitely something they're aware of. However, this is mostly targeted towards people who don't have those huge social circles.

If you don't have a network of friends, you do not have a group you are a fan of, you're returning to the game and not all your friends are using the same servers, and you'd rather join a realm where you are able to play the game in, then you would be on a realm that's basically accused simulation.
But does this really help the general population of the game? The truth is, the answer is no. So , what do you think about building layers on top or expanding infrastructure or hardware so that they can manage more people on these mega servers? This is the next thing to be addressed.
