MMOGAH
MmoGah is a veritable online supermarket of in-game items, currencies and boosting services for a large number of popular games. Whether you want bells for Animal Crossing, caps in Fallout 76 or runes in Final Fantasy XIV, MmoGah has it.
Glamour gear in FFXIV is often the first thing players invest in to really make their character stand out. But with so much to choose from, it’s not always easy to know what you need and what you don’t.
The FFXIV Online Store is where many players turn to try out new gear and mounts. But the problem is that not all items are available in every region at once. For example, the Magicked Umbrella and Parasol mounts were introduced in cheap gil ffxiv Chinese and Korean servers before being released in the global version. This means the items may be priced differently. MmoGah is a good place to compare prices before purchasing. But beware of scams and fake sellers.
Auction House
FFXIV’s housing is one of the game’s most popular side activities and there are plenty of great houses to choose from, from massive mansions in The Mists to cozy cottages at The Lavender Beds. However, acquiring a house requires a lot of money and you need to be willing to stick with the savings plan if you want to make it your own. From a ready-to-go garden to utility furnishings and wild housing exteriors, there’s a lot to think about.
The game had a years-long housing shortage, especially on busy servers, so Square Enix decided to try something new. The company introduced a 45-day timer where inactive housing plots would be automatically demolished and put back on the market. This was supposed to encourage players to log in and pick up their old houses, allowing loyal longtime players decked out in the latest Heavensward gear to get first dibs on their dream home. Unfortunately, the system was a disaster.
Free Company
There's a lot to do in FFXIV, from dungeons to raids and all sorts of side quests. But sometimes you just want to hang out with some friends and chill. For that, a Free Company (FC) is the best way to go. These are essentially guilds in FFXIV, and they bring a ton of benefits.
One of the biggest is housing. FFXIV's house system is vast, with a universe of furniture and decor options and finicky placement tricks. It also offers a variety of houses, from mansions to cosy cottages.
Those dream homes come at a price, however. You'll need a minimum of level 50 and rank of second lieutenant or higher in your Grand Company to purchase a FC estate, and you need to have a certain number of members in your FC before you can buy a house. A player or FC can only own one house, though an apartment or Private Chamber doesn't count.
Trading
Players in FFXIV often want to really make their character’s look their own, and the game is full of gear that allows them to do just that. Glamour gear is especially popular, as new items perfect for glamours are regularly added. Glamour gear can sell for millions of Gil, a very significant amount of money.
Another big moneymaker is crafting furniture. Many players who have in-game houses invest a lot of Gil into their home, decorating it with the best furnishings available. The best crafting class for this is Carpenter, who has a number of furniture recipes that can be quite profitable.
The FFXIV Online Store has a wealth of mounts, weapons and gear for players to purchase and acquire. But before spending your hard-earned Gil on any of these items, you can try them on for your character using the Dream Fitting feature. This is a great way to ensure that you’re getting the item that will truly suit your character.
