Steamforged Games has introduced an alliance with the developer Jagex to convey RuneScape to tablet computers later this year. The MMORPG could soon become it's not a single game, but new tabletop variants: a board sport and a Tabletop position-gambling game. The board game will be released on Kickstarter in the coming months, whilst the tabletop RPG is scheduled to launch in stores.
Both games will borrow inspiration from RuneScape's mythic international Gielinor. The board game will take 5 to 5 players in a quest-based marketing campaign through the world of Gielinor.
