Not only have set pieces developed from a mechanics perspective and visually improved. With strong players and players who excel in the air , they are becoming important once more, it's great to be able to see EA increase the level of accuracy in this aspect that is crucial to the gameplay.
A feature I was most curious about experiencing on my own was the new physics system. As HyperMotion 2 being touted as an opportunity to bring more realistic physics in this game, I was eager to determine if the new features were actually affecting the game.
There's not all positive on this particular front. On the one side, you'll see the latest version of ball's mechanics when you switch the play. The ball spins , turns and rotates accurately as you track the ball's movement.
On the other hand, the features EA pointed out in its pre-release announcements, like collision physics and deflections are like they did the previous year. While the weight of the players has increased for the better the players do still crash into each other , resulting in unrealistic collisions, particularly considering the tendency to keep the finger glued to that sprinting button.
