It was in the month of December, 2020. we finally got an opportunity to experience Diablo Immortal gameplay when we enrolled in the game's closed alpha testing and played the first 25 minutes. In the course of BlizzCon 2021. we received an update for the game that was slated to launch later on in the year, providing more details on both Immortal's gameplay and classes.
If you're one of the Diablo players who aren't able to enjoy the dark world of Sanctuary I'm sure you'll be delighted to know this: Diablo Immortal actually gives us a more detailed look at the time that runs between Diablo 2 and Diablo a bit more than we've seen. Five years have passed since the events of Diablo 2. Immortal takes place in the town of Wortham.
A quiet, sleepy little hamlet of hardly any consequence at all--until it's threatened by hordes of cultists as well as the undead. The players then learn from Diablo fan-favorite Deckard Cain that in order to bring peace in the village (and later, the entire world) players must journey across Sanctuary to search for and remove shards of Worldstone and prevent the possibility of a deadly catastrophe.
But, in the midst all of that chaos is another fight which is the war between the Immortals as well as the Shadows often referred to in the game as the "Cycle of Strife." According to the legends of the game the conflict started with a powerful woman named Daedessa the Builder had two children, Kion as well as Akeba.
