I'm trying to figure out the best way to approach this without unnecessarily vilifying Activision. My question is whether the realities of business that we face today, like this, and how do you relate to that parent corporation, Activision, such that you will keep operating that way?
Are you able to say that Blizzard autonomous enough to say, 'We don't think this idea's good so we're going the idea, and then to go back to the drawing board ... it's possible that you will not see another game from us for five, ten years or whatever it might be?' Are you in a situation in which you're able to make that decision?
There were a couple of questions I had to ask when Mike said, "Hey, you should take a look at this opportunity." There were a few questions I had for him , and a couple of questions I asked Bobby Kotick, the CEO of Activisionas well as the rest of the folks who work at Activision Blizzard. What you're talking about is something that it's really vital to what it is to be Blizzard and from an entrepreneur's perspective and also from a the community and fan's viewpoint.
Here's what I'm about to declare. Here we are and we are about to have our Diablo League Finals, that was actually created together with the people from Activision Blizzard, and the ambition they have is the same desires we have in order to have our games played and enjoyed by millions of players all over the world.
