You're not always following a golden road towards something since as you go, they'll be like, "Oh, I see one of those dungeons on my map. I'm sure there's an event that's shared. Oh Diablo. A world-class boss is soon to emerge. Let's all go do that.
To get the equipment from that." Even the tiniest of things, "Oh, there's a treasure golem in my area that's going take me across the world because I try get them down so that I can discover a famous product from it." There's plenty to engage with in the world.
It certainly is beneficial to have cross-play with both PC and console. What was it like to witness Diablo become a niche PC game becoming a game that anyone can play on consoles?
Fergusson The reason I like it is that it's just pride around accessibility, and also having more players play. The possibility of, for example, the ability to bring Diablo 2: Resurrected to console, being able to have controller support on mobile devices for Immortal in addition to being able launch Immortal on PC.
So people can play on big screens using mouse and controller and keyboard. It's just about giving an opportunity to more people to participate as possible and not being restricted to a specific niche. And so that to me is pride in knowing that we can have that more impact.
