Blizzard will celebrate the game's first Ladder season by streaming the launch of a livestream called The Infernal Race. A variety of Diablo game creators are going to be working together and competing against one another as they seek to be at the top of the leaderboards that are seasonal. Fans can follow the race via the official Diablo Twitch channel.

The game's initial Ladder season follows with the announcement of the major patch 2.4 update, which introduced major balance changes for classes addition of new items and rune terms, changes to the game's various mercenaries and much more. Season 26 of Diablo is set to bring the introduction of a brand-new activity that will be called the Echoing Nightmare. The new feature as well as the latest modifications in the games Greater Rifts and item set changes, will be accessible for testing in the game's test world starting on March 10.
