The two games will be released in 2022, with the board game launching with Kickstarter as well as the TTRPG going straight to retail. The games will draw inspiration from the characters, adventures and locations from the RuneScape's 21-year history, with the board game taking between one to five players on quest-based missions through Gielinor.
They'll design and build equipment, improve their character, cook special recipes, interact with NPCs, and test their skills exploring various areas around the globe. They will also encounter many exciting side quests to keep them busy and amuse them along the journey.
The TTRPG is an exquisitely illustrated, hardback, core book that includes the rules needed to run an RuneScape tabletop game of roleplaying, which allows players to build your own character, explore Gielinor as well as create original and thrilling quests. The TTRPG books's foundation is perfectly compatible with rules of fifth edition of the roleplaying tabletop game.
