In the strone circles north of Taverley you will find Kagemeex. Begin the quest by speaking with him. He will talk about the stone circle in the south of Varrock in the present. It is being taken over by dark wizards. However, a short long ago, it belonged to the locals. Then, he will instruct you to talk to Sanfew.

To speak with Sanfew, follow the road south. He is located in the upper level of the herb-marked huge octagonal Herblore shop. To find him more easily find the long buildings that house the Crystal checkpoint, since you will only need two buildings to the south of it. When you arrive at the spot you will need to inform Sanfew that you're there to purify the stone circle in Varrock. Sanfew will request you to travel to the Cauldron of Thunder, where you'll be required to put food items such as raw rat, raw bear meat, beef that is raw and raw chicken. Get these items before beginning the quest.

You can buy them at the Grand Exchange. Do you have trouble getting gold? It's not a problem. Teleport to Varrock and then run east out of the city. Purchase some at rsorder! There you will need to get rid of the following:

Rat adjacent to the south-east mine

Bear towards the south from the mine

South of the chickens of Lumbridge

Cows in the pasture

It could take some time to locate them all so it might not be an option for you if you're concerned about your time or you're an Ironman so Grand Exchange is not an option either. If you've cleared the route to Canifis Look for Rufus' Meat Emporium there and buy all four of the meat within it.
