Greetings, brave explorers!
Aeternum is a world that is constantly changing, and as such, we will continue to make efforts to provide our players with a variety of new features, content, and changes on a regular basis. We are approaching the release of our next major update in a manner similar to the activities that preceded the release of our most recent major update, and we would like to invite you all to participate in the next cycle of our Public Test Realm (PTR)!
RTP
The Public Test Realm (PTR) is a limited-availability server-set that will provide players with an early look at upcoming features in a safe and secure environment. It is possible that you will encounter bugs, crashes, missing text, or other issues while using these preview builds because they are snapshots of upcoming major releases rather than final versions. We hope that, between our internal testing efforts and your reports, we will be able to identify and resolve any serious issues before they reach the production servers. Despite this, not every bug or piece of feedback will be addressed before the game is released; some changes will need to be investigated further and may be included in a subsequent patch or two. The game has already been updated with hundreds of changes, with more to come, and the complete release notes will be made available on release day.
Due to the fact that all newly created PTR characters will be given the opportunity to instantly level up into selected levels while equipped with the appropriate gear and items, this will aid in the feedback process.
The PTR will officially open tomorrow, March 3, at 10 a. m. PST (6 p. m. UTC), according to the PTR website. A limited number of servers will be available for this playtest cycle in order to maximize world population and encourage more occurrences of group play. The world will be located within the US East regional datacenter in order to maximize world population and encourage more occurrences of group play. It is possible that you will need to change your regional selection from the main menu in order to discover the test world that is available.
Those who own the main game will be able to download this special preview client through the standalone Steam application "New World Public Test Realm," which should already be in their Steam library. As soon as the testing period is over and the main New World game has been updated to include the previewed content, all worlds will be closed down and may be subject to being wiped clean entirely. However, you will still be able to see the New World PTR application in your Steam library, but there will be no active servers until we announce another test period.
If you come across a bug or exploit, or if you have suggestions for how to improve a feature or piece of content, we'd love to hear about it in our PTR sub-forum (you can also use our in-game feedback tool). We will make every effort to address as much of your feedback as we can before the content update is released to our live servers. Thank you for your patience. The following changes have been implemented during this iteration of the PTR, and we look forward to receiving your playtest feedback on them:
NEW ACTIVITIES AT THE END OF THE GAME
THE MYRKGARD EXPEDITION WAS AT THE HEART OF TEMPEST
The final showdown with Isabella is right around the corner. Pursue the Tempest through the twisted capital city of Myrkgard, which will lead you into a corrupted dimension of reality. You'll uncover the secrets of her past as you delve deeper and deeper into her corrupted brain. The Tempest's Heart is a five-player endgame expedition that takes place at the end of the game. Recommended for players aged 60 and up with Gearscores ranging between 550 and 570.
Players will be given powerful loadouts for the PTR in March, allowing them to play more frequently.
THE PRIMARY STORYLINETHE FINALE QUESTION AND MUCH MORE
As you pursue Isabella back to Shattered Mountain, the main story questline begins to take shape. Yseult Meredith provides the final quest, The Heart of the Tempest, which must be completed. They can be found at Mountain Home Outpost, which is located in Shattered Mountain.
Several additional repeatable quests are available from Mara Rosa, who can be found in the cathedral, just south of the expedition's entry point.
THE BLUNDERBUSS IS A NEW WEAPON TYPE.
The Blunderbuss is a ranged weapon that combines high mobility with potent close-to-mid range DPS to create a lethal combination. Due to its position as the first weapon to scale in both strength and intelligence, it makes an excellent companion for bruiser or mage builds. The Containment tree is all about closing the gap between you and your opponent and unloading a barrage of hot lead into their faces. The Chaos tree, on the other hand, is concerned with maintaining a safe distance while unleashing massive AoE damage on a large area.
QUESTIONS ABOUT NEW LEGENDARY WEAPONS
With the release of the Blunderbuss weapon comes the launch of a new Legendary Weapon Quest series, which will run concurrently with the weapon's release. In order to begin this epic journey, players must first reach Level 60 and the maximum skill level with the new firearm (which is granted to you automatically in the PTR). They should then seek out Wang Tang Zhi in the Ebonscale Reach settlement.

LOADOUTS FOR THE PTR BACKSTORY
Players will be given multiple caches of special armor and weapons when they create a character on the PTR during the character creation process. There are six different caches, each with its own designation based on the general build based on a main attribute: CON, DEX, INT, FOC, and STR. Each cache has a different designation based on the general build based on a main attribute. Do not open all of the provided caches at the same time in order to better manage the sudden influx of new items; otherwise, you risk becoming encumbered! Instead, equip all of the provided bags and then go through the process of deliberately opening each cache. You have the option of dropping or depositing any unwanted caches into your personal settlement storage.
PTR Frequently Asked Questions HOW DO I GET ACCESS TO THE NEW PTR?

Unfortunately, this is not the case. Because these are two distinct ecosystems, it is not currently possible to combine them. For the sake of making testing easier for our play-testers, we will occasionally provide special accommodations such as instant levels, special gear, and other such things to make their lives easier.
Is it possible for me to provide design feedback on what is included on the PTR?
The preview game builds available on the PTR have completed their core development and are in the final stages of testing and bug fixing before being released. At this point, our primary focus is on improving quality, but we welcome any feedback you may have to share as well.
IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SUPPORT IF I HAVE A PROBLEM?
Our policies and Code of Conduct apply to the Public Test Realm, and in-game moderation will continue to be available. Unfortunately, due to the temporary and potentially unstable nature of the PTR, general Customer Service assistance will not be available through either Live Chat or the Support Website during this time.
I DO NOT WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PTR; CAN THE APP BE REMOVED FROM MY LIBRARY IF I DO NOT WANT TO?
